A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste up to 50,000 characters of plain text.
  2. Choose whether blank lines should receive numbers.
  3. Review, copy, or download the right-numbered text as TXT.

Right-aligned numbering

Each numbered line keeps its original text and receives a sequential number on the right. Numbers are padded to the width of the final number so they align vertically. Blank lines stay empty by default; you can include them in the sequence.

Plain text and local processing

The tool treats input as plain text and never renders it as HTML. Processing stays in this browser. Input is limited to 50,000 characters and output to 500,000 characters.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are blank lines changed?

No by default. Blank and whitespace-only lines remain exactly as entered and do not consume a number. Enable the blank-line option to number them.

Are the numbers right-aligned?

Yes. The number column uses the width of the last number, with a single space before the number.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The conversion and TXT download are handled locally in your browser.
