A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste up to 50,000 characters of English text.
  2. Choose how many listed adverbs a sentence must contain before it is flagged.
  3. Review matching words and their sentence in context; decide whether any wording should change.

A small English candidate list

The browser checks a fixed list of common English adverbs such as really, quickly, carefully, very, and probably. It does not try to identify every adverb or infer grammar from context.

Sentence-level review prompt

The threshold counts listed word matches in each sentence. It highlights sentences that meet the chosen count and shows the matching words. A match may be useful or necessary; the tool does not judge writing quality or suggest replacements.

Local and limited

Analysis runs in your browser and the text is not uploaded or saved. Detection is English only, limited to the included list, and may miss adverbs or flag a word used differently in context.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it detect every English adverb?

No. It uses a small, fixed list of common words and does not perform grammatical parsing.

Does a flagged sentence need rewriting?

Not necessarily. The count is only a prompt to review repeated candidates in context; it does not assess quality or meaning.

Does the text leave my browser?

No. Matching and sentence review happen locally in your browser.
