A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste up to 100,000 characters of English text.
- Convert the supported expanded phrases.
- Review and copy the contracted text.
English-only dictionary
The tool contracts a fixed set of common forms such as I am → I'm, do not → don't, will not → won't, and they are → they're. Unsupported phrases and other languages remain unchanged.
Predictable text handling
Matching is case-insensitive at word boundaries. All-uppercase and initial-capital forms keep their casing; punctuation, whitespace, and line breaks stay in place. Output apostrophes use the straight ASCII character.
Local processing
Conversion happens in your browser and the input is not uploaded or saved.
