Image Rotator & Flipper
Choose one local image, rotate or flip its decoded pixel grid without resizing, and select an output format.
The browser must successfully decode the file. JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, or AVIF may work depending on the browser; support for every format is not guaranteed. Animated inputs use the default still image or first frame only. SVG is loaded only as an image, with no inline SVG or script execution. Input is limited to 20 MiB. Input and output dimensions are limited to 40 megapixels and 10,000 pixels per side.
PNG and WebP retain canvas transparency; JPEG uses a white background. JPEG and WebP quality ranges from 0.1 to 1 and may be lossy. Export re-encodes browser-decoded pixels without resizing; it does not preserve source metadata, original compression, vector data, animation or exact source colors. Output format is checked against the browser’s actual encoder result.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose one image up to 20 MiB, 40 megapixels, and 10,000 pixels per side.
- Rotate left/right, combine horizontal and vertical flips, or reset the original orientation.
- Choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP; set JPEG/WebP quality and download the newly encoded image.

GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can I combine flips and rotations?
Yes. Controls act on the displayed orientation, and every redraw uses the original decoded image to avoid repeated transform encoding. Reset clears orientation changes.
Is the image uploaded?
No. The chosen image is decoded, drawn and encoded in this browser; nothing is uploaded or saved automatically.
