Parenthesized Text Generator
Turn eligible letters and numbers into copyable Unicode parenthesized text locally in your browser.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Enter up to 20,000 Unicode code points.
- Generate the parenthesized form in your browser.
- Review unchanged spacing, punctuation, and unsupported characters, then copy the result.
Defined Unicode mappings
The generator maps Latin A–Z and a–z to the Unicode parenthesized small-letter characters ⒜–⒵. It maps the decimal numbers 1–20 when they appear as standalone number tokens to ⑴–⒇. Uppercase letters use the corresponding lowercase parenthesized character because Unicode does not define a separate uppercase parenthesized Latin alphabet.
Spacing and unsupported text
Spaces, tabs, line breaks, punctuation, emoji, non-Latin scripts, and numbers outside 1–20 remain unchanged. The tool adds no spaces, separators, markup, or backslash escapes, and it does not remove or rewrite existing parentheses.
Local and bounded
Conversion happens in this browser for up to 20,000 Unicode code points. The output is plain text and is capped at 100,000 characters; no input is uploaded.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does it create parenthesized uppercase letters?
Unicode provides parenthesized Latin small letters only, so uppercase input maps to the matching lowercase parenthesized character.
Are spaces and punctuation changed?
No. They remain in their original positions and are never escaped or replaced.
Which numbers are supported?
Standalone numbers from 1 through 20 map to Unicode parenthesized number characters. Other numbers remain unchanged.
