Field boundaries only
Each parsed field is trimmed at its start and end. Internal spaces, quoted line breaks, and other field content remain.
CSV and errors
Quoted commas and escaped quotes are preserved. Empty input produces empty output; malformed CSV is rejected without partial output.
Local limits and privacy
Input is limited to 2 MB, 50,000 records, and 500 fields per record. Processing stays in your browser; dialects and encodings are not detected.

Common questions
Does it remove spaces inside a value?
No. Only leading and trailing whitespace is removed.
Are quoted line breaks preserved?
Yes. They remain inside the field.
