QR Multi Payload

Build QR codes from structured phone, calendar, location, email, SMS, contact, text or URL fields locally. Inspect the raw payload before copying or downloading.

In-browser processingNo account requiredPrivacy details ↗

Everything stays in this browser. Maximum encoded payload: 2,000 UTF-8 bytes. Scanners and apps may support different formats; check the decoded result before sharing.

Email accepts one ASCII address with a DNS-style domain. Text fields are escaped, not interpreted as extra properties. No automatic calls, messages, event imports or map requests.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a payload type and fill its fields.
  2. Generate a QR code and review the raw payload.
  3. Confirm the information can be shared, then copy the payload or download the PNG. Check it with your intended scanner.

Eight payload types

One type per QR: tel with an international number, sms with an optional encoded body, mailto with subject/body, WGS-84 geo coordinates, vCard 3.0 contact, a single iCalendar VEVENT, plain text, or an HTTP/HTTPS URL without credentials. Email accepts one ASCII dot-atom address with a DNS-style domain. Phone numbers have a + country code and 2–15 digits; formatting spaces, parentheses and hyphens are removed. URI fields use percent encoding; calendar/contact text escapes backslashes, commas, semicolons and line breaks. Calendar and vCard records use CRLF and UTF-8 line folding at 75 bytes. Each text field allows 2,000 characters; the complete encoded payload is limited to 2,000 UTF-8 bytes. Invalid input stops generation.

Explicit calendar offset

Enter start and end wall-clock dates plus a fixed ±HH:MM UTC offset, up to ±14:00. Both dates use that same offset and export as UTC DTSTART/DTEND. The end must be later; years are limited to 1900–9998. No named time zone, daylight saving inference, recurring event, invitation or all-day event is generated. If a daylight saving change occurs during the event, use another calendar editor. The contact supports a required display name and optional organization, phone and email.

Review sensitive information

Payloads and QR rendering stay in the browser without uploads or persistent storage. A QR image is readable information, not encryption: it may reveal names, contact details, event descriptions or exact coordinates. Review and confirm sharing before copy/download. The tool does not call, send messages, import events or request a map. Scanners and apps vary; check the actual decoded result before printing or sharing.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does one QR contain every type at once?

No. Choose one type for each QR. Structured fields produce its standard URI or calendar/contact record.

Does generating a code send a message or add an event?

No. This page only builds a payload and QR image. The scanning app decides what actions are available.

Can every scanner import calendars and contacts?

Support varies. Inspect the raw payload and try the target scanner before sharing; recognition is not guaranteed.
