Method and limits
GB estimate only. Formula: 0.5 week for each complete service year under age 22; 1 week for each year aged 22–40; 1.5 weeks for each year aged 41 or over. Service is capped at 20 years. The listed weekly limits apply from their effective dates. The year-by-year age bands are estimated from age on the redundancy date and whole years of service; verify boundary birthdays and exact service dates. Does not calculate National Insurance, enhanced/contractual schemes, notice pay or tax. Supported Great Britain weekly pay caps: £719 from 6 April 2025 to 5 April 2026; £751 from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027. Earlier or unlisted dates require you to enter the official cap for the relevant date.
