One ingredient per line: name followed by a positive ratio part. Use a space, colon, comma, or equals sign between them. Up to 30 ingredients. Parts: 0.000000001–1,000,000,000; batch amount: 0.000001–1,000,000 in the selected unit.

Sample ratios are ready. Edit them or scale the blend.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter at least two ingredient names and positive ratio parts, one per line.
  2. Set the batch amount and choose grams, kilograms, ounces, or pounds.
  3. Calculate each ingredient’s share of the total parts.

Scale by weight

The calculation is linear: ingredient weight = ingredient parts ÷ total parts × target batch weight. Every output uses the selected mass unit.

Ratio parts are not measurements

Enter relative parts, not teaspoons or tablespoons. This calculator does not convert volume to weight because spice density varies by ingredient and grind.

A proportional starting point

Strong spices can taste more intense in a larger batch even when the mathematical ratio stays the same. Adjust a blend to taste; this page does not give recipe or food-safety advice.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

How do I enter a blend?

Put one ingredient per line, followed by a positive ratio part, such as “cumin 3” or “ground coriander: 2”.

Can I enter teaspoons and convert them to grams?

No. Spice density varies, so the tool scales weight ratios and does not estimate volume-to-weight conversions.

Why can the same ratio taste different in a larger batch?

Taste does not always scale linearly. Strong ingredients such as clove or chile may dominate at larger amounts, so adjust to your preference.
