How to use this tool
- Choose one unencrypted, unsigned PDF up to 50 MB and 200 pages.
- Select Text, Image, Rectangle, Circle, Arrow, or Freehand. Choose a page, color, and size, then click or drag to add overlays.
- Review the page and save the edited copy. Existing page content is not changed; added overlays are flattened into the selected pages.
A practical page-overlay editor
Add multilingual text, a PNG/JPEG/WebP image, an outlined rectangle or circle, an arrow, or a freehand stroke. Work on multiple unrotated pages, undo the latest addition on the current page, clear that page, and inspect the saved PDF locally before downloading.
Private, local processing
The selected PDF is read, previewed, rewritten, and checked in your browser. PDF bytes are not uploaded. Input is limited to one PDF up to 50 MB and 200 pages; output is limited to 100 MB, and an individual rendered page is bounded for browser memory.
What “edit” means here
Added content is flattened as an image overlay on each edited page; text added by this editor is therefore not selectable or editable as PDF text afterward. Existing text and page objects remain as they were. This is not an in-place text reflow editor, form-field editor, OCR tool, secure redaction tool, or content-removal tool. Encrypted, signed, XFA, rotated-page, malformed, and oversized files are refused.

Common questions
Can I change words that are already in the PDF?
No. This editor places new content over a page. It does not locate, erase, or reflow existing PDF text.
Can I add text in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean?
Yes. Text is rendered by your browser into the page overlay, so the fonts available on your device can display those scripts. The added text is flattened and not selectable in the saved PDF.
Does it edit PDF forms or safely redact confidential content?
No. Form field values are not edited, and drawing over content does not remove the underlying information. Do not use this tool for secure redaction.
Are the additions editable after saving?
No. Overlays are flattened into the edited page. Keep your source PDF and make any changes again from the editor if needed.
Why are signed or rotated PDFs refused?
Saving changes the document bytes and would invalidate digital signatures. Rotated pages need a different coordinate transform to keep overlays aligned, so this version refuses them rather than risk misplacement.
